An Uncomfortable Splitting of the Legs
Today when I was walking down the halls of my school in between class, I was rushing to my next class. I happened to be wearing my sandals that had a flat bottom with no traction. The lunchroom happens to be on my route to my next class during one of the breaks in between one of my classes. There also happened to be a blob of potatoes on the ground in front of the lunchroom. (You see where this is going don't you.) Well I just so happened to step on the blob of potatoes and did the splits. I can tell you this much...IT HURT LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW!!! I was in pain! But I instantly got up and continued to walk to my next class. It was a weird experience. I didn't even cry out or hear anyone ask if I was OK. I just continued with my life in pain. But I can finally say that I did the splits. (But not successfully.)

*#@%?!
It was a perfect day, the teachers were kind to me, I had no homework so far, and I was melting in pure happiness until...when I came out of P.E... ALL OF THE CONTENTS OF MY BACKPACK WERE STRUNG ABOUT ALL OVER THE HALLWAY FLOOR*!!! This made me as mad as a bull about to run into a matador!
I had to quickly pick up all of my things before everyone came tromping all over my stuff. I looked through my things to see what they stole. The weirdest thing was that they only stole my old plastic pencil sharpener. This is weird because the valuable things in my backpack are these: Prismacolor Pencils, a nice $20 pen I got for my Birthday, a lock with the combination on the back, a bunch of pencils, a nice pen for marking things with sticky stabs, and a new highlighter. The person must have been mentally ill since they only stole the old plastic pencil sharpener. But I sure am lucky they didn't take anything else.
*The facts to this horrible crime are these: for my P.E. class I am supposed to leave my backpack in a teacher's classroom because backpacks are not allowed in the gym. Well, I had to stay after the bell rang in my math class (2nd period) to finish my test. So I had to come late to P.E. (3rd period) with a late slip. First I had to drop off my backpack in the classroom where I usually drop it off. But since the class already started, I decided not to go in and disturb the class. That was the BIG mistake. I left my backpack outside of the classroom next to the door. Then later, somebody had the bobble headed idea to rummage through my backpack.

I'm Not Dead...Yet
Today I went for a heart checkup at the Primary Children's Hospital in S.L.C. I got a good checkup informing me I am in good condition. Yes my friends, I will continue to live among you. You may now rejoice. :D
After the checkup my Mom and Dad took me to a yummy restaurant called the Market Street Grill. I HIGHLY recommend it. The food is pure deliciousness. I had two monstrous pancakes, eggs, ham, juice, water, a muffin, and a whopping serving of tater tots on a plate of it's own. I felt I was eating a meal fit for a king. (Recognize that I said "King". Queens have petite meals. The kings on the other hand...)
I stuffed my self all the way to the capacity of my stomach.
Overall, my day was spectacular. I had a good checkup at the hospital and ate a delicious breakfast.

A Word of Advice...
My word of advice is simply this: Don't wear a corduroy messenger bag to school if you are wearing gauchos. It pulls your pants off! Yes. I did indeed learn this lesson the hard way. Don't be a fool like me and wear corduroy messenger bag if you are wearing gauchos. You will regret it.

"My Salad Be Gone!"
It was a fine Sunday afternoon when I was eating my dinner, minding my business, then had to use the restroom. After a while, I came out, sat down, and was about to finish eating when suddenly, I noticed that something was different about my dinner.
My delicious pear and cottage cheese salad was gone! I eyed everyone at the table trying to figure out who took my salad.
Finally, Mati confessed she ate my salad. She said that she thought I was done with my dinner, then she saw that I didn't eat my salad yet so she went ahead and ate the delicious dish.
I don't blame Mati for eating my salad, but, be warned for the next person who eats my delicious pear and cottage cheese salad. You are in for some deep doo-doo if you do. I went soft on Mati, but be warned, I will not go soft on you.

Max Lives Through an Accident, Again
Yesterday a tragic accident happend where, let's just say, half of the books on the top shelf in the study fell off onto a table underneath it and knocked everything off, including Max.
I ran to the kitchen to get paper towels to wipe up the water. Though the idea didn't click that the water was from Max's fish vase until Chris yelled: "Hannah! Hannah! Fish out of water! Max is about to die! Go get a cup of water! Hurry!" These few sentences scared me to death. I ran to get a cup, then for some weird reason I went to the bathroom to fill up the cup (even thought the sink in the Kitchen was right next to me). I was running in place wobbling all of the water out of the cup. It took a while until the cup was full because of my wobbling.
Eventually, Max was back in his fish vase on the table once again. It's funny though. I remember seeing Max go flying out of his fish vase in a bubble of water onto the ground. But it didn't click that the water on the ground was from Max's Fish Vase. I guess I just blanked.
This is probably mean of me to say, but, whenever I run the memory of Max flying though the air, it makes me laugh. Just remembering his wide fish eyes witnessing it all. You just have to admit it's funny.

A Book Out of My Understanding
Today at school I was required in my english class to read a book. My class went to the library to choose books to read. I was gazing among the books when all of a sudden a booked popped right into my view. I had the feeling to check this book out. I did. The book happens to be called "The Scarlet letter".
I know, I know that it is a crazy book for me to read, but, I think it will be fun and out of the ordinary. I ask you to support me in my adventure of reading "The Scarlet letter". Thank you.

My Boiled Fish
I know this will be the weirdest first post ever in the history of first posts (and the worst witten), but, I felt I should post this story first. So bear with me please...
Recently, after I came home from school on the 25th, I felt the need to clean my fish, Max's, bowl (it's actually a tall vase, but hey, what else should I use if I don't have a bowl or fish tank). I do a weekly routine of cleaning his fish vase. I carry him into the bathroom, get a cup, scoop him out, and replace the water in the cup with him in it. There, my friends, was the big mistake.
When I was refilling the water in the cup, I accidentally turned on the hot water. I didn't notice at first so I kept on going with cleaning his fish vase. Then, later, I checked on him and he was belly up! This sight scared the daylights out of me! I quickly rushed up and examined the situation. I thought he was gone. I didn't give up. I quickly changed his water to cold, then watched, looking for the slightest sliver of hope. I waited. And waited.
My Mother said to flush him down the toilet after a while. But, I held steadfast to the belief he would live. Eventually, he twitched! I was rejoicing! I had resuscitated him! Over a period of time, he improved. His first attempt to swim was belly up. It was an interesting sight to see. In a few short minutes he was restored.
Today, Max's wounds from the hot water bath were showing up on his face. I think they are burn marks. Hopefully, they aren't signs of internal bleeding. But overall, Max is doing great right now. And that concludes the story of my frightening adventure with my fish Max.
